Gearbro Kft. has officially operated since 2016, but our story started much earlier. We were there when digital cinema cameras began reshaping set life, when HMI and tungsten still ruled, when the first serious LEDs arrived, and when the ARRI SkyPanel changed expectations across the board. We did not just watch the transition. We worked through it, adapted early, and helped push it forward in Hungary.

We grew up with the technology.

The job has changed radically, and so have the expectations. Speed matters more. Precision matters more. Efficiency matters more. The productions that trust us need solutions that are technically sharp, logistically realistic, and fast under pressure.

That is why we have spent the last decade working almost continuously on major international productions, supporting prep and shooting on high-end feature films and Emmy-winning series. We have always believed the right way to work is simple: react fast, stay curious, and raise the bar a little higher every single day.

We were among the pioneers in Hungary in wireless lighting control, with one of the first LumenRadio Stardust systems in the market and an early adoption of linking-key based lamp pairing. We recognised early that modern productions need more than equipment. They need a partner that understands change before it becomes a problem.

That mindset is also why we kept investing in our own equipment and truck fleet: to serve productions better, move faster, and stay in control when timing, quality, and cost-efficiency all matter at once.
